Daily Agenda, Thursday, 3/5
WARM-UP:
1) get the big blue spiral, BCIS I textbook from back cabinet.
CLASS WORK:
1) Type the key terms in a blog post from page 338. for Lesson 2
2) Title the blog post: Access - Lesson 2 Key Terms (POST due today)
3) Begin working on Lesson 2 Access exercises. The first one begins on page 341.
Remember you have to go to the J:/ and drag the files to your server in order to be able to work on the file.
Lesson 2 starts working with relationships. If you have a difficult time with it, please ask for my help.
I am working on grades today. Please make sure you have everything dragged to the turn in folder or posted to your blog whichever the directions called for.

4) No one has turned in any work to the electronic turn in folder for Access.
The picture to the right shows you all the database files you
were to complete for Lesson 1 in the BCIS I textbook, starting
on page 304.
Woodstarts and Fundraising Event will both count as a test grade.
You must DRAG all of your databases to the Electronic turn-in folder. Below is a listing of the file structure to show where your files should be placed.

Remember that you will have to drag the databases the book wishes you to open from the J:/ drive, projects folder, in Crownover's class data files folder, in the BCIS II folder, in the Unit 3-Access folder, then from the lesson you are working on. Drag the file to your server and then open the database from YOUR sever (U:/ drive).
Make sure you have all the Exercises completed that I assigned last week. Then work on the Production Test assignments listed below.
3) You must complete the --> PRODUCTION TEST today
Production Test assignments:
* pg. 333 #1, Examine a Database, Run through it quickly
* pg. 333-335 #2, Manipulate Database Records, Woodstarts
* pg. 335-336 #3, create a new database, (name the database: Fund-raising Event)
DUE DATES:
* Due Last Friday Lesson Review Exercises (pgs. 329-332)
* due TODAY, 3/2 - Production Test assignments due in the electronic turn in folder (pgs. 333-336)
