WARM-UP:

1) go to http://www.freerice.com/ (we are going to work on a different section of free rice today)* Click on Subjects (at the very top of the window)
* Scroll down to English
* Click on English Grammar
* Spend 5-7 minutes working on the English Grammar
* At the end of 5-7 minutes, open your Grains of Rice donation spreadsheet
* Record the number of grains of rice you donated today.



CLASS ACTIVITIES:



2) Get a Purple Office Applications volume 1 textbook AND A YELLOW OFFICE APPLICATIONS VOLUME 2 TEXTBOOK

3) I have added 1 more Excel document to complete and a Internet Scavenger Hunt I want you to complete.

Finish all the textbook work first. DO NOT FORGET TO DO THE REFLECTIONS AND POST THEM TO YOUR BLOGS. I WILL BE USING THE GRADING RUBRICS FOR EACH EXERCISE.

4) After you complete all 4 spreadsheet exercises from the textbooks, you need to go to the sub and ask for a worksheet. I left yall a worksheet to complete. It is 2 sided (front and back). You will surf the Internet, go to the websites listed on the worksheets in order to complete the worksheet. Complete the worksheet and turn it in to your class periods turn in box by the end of the period on Tuesday. DO NOT FORGET TO DO THIS WORKSHEET OR PASS IT OVER BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO DO IT.

• Save your house drawing file there in that folder
