2) go to http://www.freerice.com/ (we are going to work on a different section of free rice today)* Click on Subjects (at the very top of the window)
* Scroll down to English
* Click on English Grammar
* Spend 10 working on the English Grammar
* At the end of 10 minutes, open your Grains of Rice donation spreadsheet
* Record the number of grains of rice you donated today.
CLASS ACTIVITIES:
3) I don't have very many printouts from this class. There should be more than what I have. WHAT'S THE DEAL?

* you do not have to do the What's Wrong with this Picture? or the Cross-Curriculum Project on page 168 & 169
I told yall I wanted you to print everything out, whether it tells you to in the book or not.
I WANT EVERYONE'S PRINT OUT'S TODAY. YOU HAVE HAD ENOUGH TIME TO COMPLETE THESE "TEST" EXERCISES. WHAT ISN'T TURNED IN TODAY, WILL BE A ZERO.
5) Type the key terms for Unit 2, Lesson 1 in a new blog post. (IF YOU DID NOT DO SO YESTERDAY)
* Create a new blog post
* title it: Unit 2, Lesson 1 Key Terms
* type the term and the definition for each word in your blog and post it to your blog
* be sure to number the terms, bold and underline the term (see example below)

To create an underline in a blog post, highlight the word and then press ctrl+U at the same time. Press the ctrl key and the letter u at the same time.

4) Make sure you complete Unit 1 Applications and Projects starting on page 162-169. (YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THE CROSS-CURRICULUM PROJECT ON PGS 168 & 169)
These will count as a test grade so do the best you can. I don't have a problem if yall help each other out either. Datafiles are located on the J: drive in the Unit 1 folder, in the EOU folder.
