Daily Agenda, Friday

Thank you so much for being so good and being good for the sub and I got a good report.

WARM-UP:
1) get out a textbook from the bookshelf
Chaz and Josh please come see me.
2)Spend 5 minutes on Free Rice
Record your donation amout
3) Print your Free Rice - Grains of Rice donation spreadsheet and turn it in to the box by the end of the period today. If you were absent any day this week, please type the word absent in the box for the day that you were absent, so I know not to take points off.

CLASS ACTIVITIES:
4) Julie is going to walk everyone through setting up Outlook express with your hotmail or yahoo, or gmail accounts.
5) Then you will try to do the exercises from pg 122 through pg. 125
5) Make sure you have completed and printed all the exercises I told you to complete and print on Wednesday's 10/8 blog post.
6) It is your repsonsibility to make sure you call me over to screen check the 3 documents that I said I wanted to screen check.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING COMPLETE AND FINISHED, TURNED IN OT SCREEN CHECKED BY ME.
ONCE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING DONE, YOU MAY HAVE FREE TIME.

Daily Agenda, Thursday

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
* The classroom looked great yesterday. All books were put in the bookcase. Thank you.
* Remember I am out today. Gone to a workshop.
* Please be on your best behavior, just like yall are every day.

WARM-UP:
1) Work on www.freerice.com until about 12pm. If you are getting a little tired of free rice and what to do something different then, go to www.freetypinggame.com . Take some Timed Typing Tests. Find out what your typing speed is. But still record your amount in your Grains of Rice spreadsheet.

Example: If you typed a maximum 25 words per minute, then go to your Grains of Rice spreadsheet and type in the box for today 25WPM. Or if you donated 500 grains of rice then type 500 in today's box on the spreadsheet.

2) Get a big sprial textbook from the bookshelf

CLASS ACTIVITIES:
3) You are to continue working on the Lesson 4 Exercises I assigned yesterday. Please see yesterday's blog post for specific exercise page numbers, etc.
4) Remember once you get to pg. 122 you can stop and wait for me to get back and we will look at it tomorrow.
Yall definitely can help each other out if you are having problems with one of the exercises. Work together, that is a good thing in here.
5) If you are completely done with the exercises up to pg. 122, you may have free time. You can play computer games, typing games would be best, but you can play games if you want to, ONLY IF YOU ARE FINISHED UP TO PAGE 122.

Remember that yall must stay in class until 12:55 pm today. I will let yall go early tomorrow.

Daily Agenda, Wednesday

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
* Do not leave textbooks out on the desks. Make sure you put them in the back bookshelf on the third shelf.
* I will be out tomorrow. Gone to a workshop. I expect yall to be on your best behavior for the sub. Treat the sub like you would treat me. You will have plenty of work to get done, so make sure you do exactly what my blog tells you to do. And follow all instructions that the sub tells you to do.

WARM-UP:
1) Spend 10 minutes on Free Rice. I will set a timer. At the end of that time period, you will need to go into your Grains of Rice Spreadsheet and record the total number of your daily donation.
2) Get a big sprial textbook from the bookshelf

CLASS WORK:
3) We are starting Lesson 4 today. This lesson is going to cover Integrating Data from Access and Excel into Word. This is a great chapter to go through. There is a lot of practical data that you are going to work through and learn. Please take your time and make sure you do everything correctly.

The following is a list of the exercises I want you to complete by Friday. The exercises that have PRINT next to them are to be printed and turned in by the end of the period on Friday. I will not be picking them up from the printer. You need to get your print outs and staple them all together in the correct order and put them in the 4th period turn in tray. Don't forget your regular class header/footer on each document. I will screen check the documents that are to be screen checked on FRIDAY.

THERE ARE STILL A LOT OF YOU LEAVING YOUR TEXTBOOKS OUT AT THE COMPUTER STATIONS. I AM TAKING POINTS OFF OF YOUR DAILY GRADE EVERY TIME YOU DO THAT. PLEASE DON'T DO THAT ANY MORE. I AM GOING TO ASSIGN YOU A TEXTBOOK TOMORROW IF YOU CONTINUE TO LEAVE BOOKS OUT.

WARM-UP:

NEW SIX WEEKS HAS BEGUN ~ 2ND SIX WEEKS GRADES BEGIN TODAY

WARM-UP:

2) Get out a big spiral textbook (MAKE SURE YOU PUT IT BACK IN THE CABINET ONCE YOU ARE DONE. TOO MANY PEOPLE STILL LEAVING BOOKS OUT.)
3) I will explain a couple of things to you for use in assignments below.

CLASS ACTIVITIES:
4) Complete the following Review Exercises from Lesson 3. You will print each document once you complete it. Get your print out from the print, and staple all print outs together (make sure they are in the order by page numbers/order listed below) and turn them in to the 4th period turn in tray by the end of the period.

Don't forget to include your regular class HEADER & FOOTER INFORMATION.

This is a timed assignment. Points will be taken off if you do not complete all of the assignments by the end of the period.
